Football News

Juventus have finally decided that the time is right to sell both Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba, believing their transfer value will reach optimum levels this summer, as reported by The Daily Mail.

The two tough-tackling midfielders are currently enjoying impressive campaigns at the World Cup with Vidal having already inspired Chile to two impressive wins over Australia and Spain.

Serie A champions Juventus believe the media exposure at the World Cup will increase Vidal and Pogba's transfer value to its highest possible level and are ready to cash in on both the midfielders if their valuations are met.

Vidal had an impressive season for Juventus and was already being linked with a move to Real Madrid and Manchester United. However, if he continues to perform to the same level in the latter stages of the World Cup, Juventus should have no problem generating £40 million from his sale.

Similarly, Pogba had an inspiring season for Juventus and is considered one of the most marketable players in the world at the moment. The 21-year-old was lucky not to get sent of in France's opening game against Honduras but still played a key role in Les Bleus 3-0 win.

Juventus will ask for £50 million for the midfielder, who has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but the Turin club expect only PSG and Real Madrid to meet their demands for the youngster.

Wherever the pair end up, it is likely only a handful of clubs will be able to meet Juventus' demands.
