Triple H sits down every week with Michael Cole and give his thoughts on the goings on in the WWE. Most weeks it's an interesting interview and some weeks it's not. But this week's excerpt from the WWE's Vice President was an explosive one, with HHH labelling Roman Reigns as a cancer.
On this week's Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns had an eventful evening not for the first time. Every since he left The Shield he has been hell bent on destroying The Authority, with plenty of dirty tactics taking place.
Reigns managed to persuade Vickie Guerrero into allowing him that opportunity to compete in the Battle Royal match that now means he's qualified for the WWE title match at the Money in the Bank ladder pay-per-view, thus stealing his way into a match that The Authority had banned him from.
This has obviously angered Triple H to the point of sheer frustration, and he let his feeling be known during the interview.
Roman Reigns is a cancer for the WWE
"I gave a lot of people opportunities," Triple H explained referring to the amount of wrestlers given an opportunity to qualify for the WWE title ladder match.
"Vickie Guerrero took it upon herself to give Roman Reigns an opportunity that I didn't want him to have. He didn't deserve it because he's a cancer in the lockeroom. He defies authority, you can't have that right. But now he's taking advantage of it and has his opportunity."
Ever since Seth Rollins turned on The Shield and sided with The Authority, Roman Reigns has been somewhat of a loose cannon in the eyes of Triple H. At every turn, Reigns has tried to destroy The Authority in a feud that his likely to see him and HHH face off in the ring at some point.
Friends of The Authority don't have to qualify for ladder matches
During the interview with Cole, the commentator also pushed Triple H on some of the more dodgy goings on surrounding The Authority right now.
Randy Orton didn't have to qualify for the WWE title ladder match at Money in the Bank, and HHH also announced during the interview that Seth Rollins had been automatically entered into the Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match.
Cole pulled him up on that and questioned why both Orton and Rollins, friends of The Authority, had been given passes. This was followed by a robust response from HHH.
