Money in the Bank Ladder match comes early for WWE fans

Smackdown had a superstar main event on Friday as all seven men who will compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match in just over a weeks time were in the ring together.

In an unorthodox four-on-three handicap match, Roman Reigns teams with John Cena and Sheamus to take on Randy Orton, Cesaro, Bray Wyatt and Alberto Del Rio.

Six of the seven men had started the show with a large confrontation at the start of the show, first came Cena, then Del Rio followed by Sheamus and Cesaro.

When Roman Reigns came to the ring business really picked up, he had a staredown with Cena and when it looked like the two powerhouses were going to go at it, out came Randy Orton to ruin everything.

The whole thing ended in a brawl with Reigns and Orton fighting out of the arena and Sheamus and Cena clearing the ring.

The match was a fantastic affair with a flurry of action in the end, each superstar got a chance to show what they will bring to the Money in the Bank ladder match and the man with the win is now surely the clear favourite.

Cena took the most of the punishment as the crowd chanted for Roman Reigns all through the match, when he finally got the tag, the crowd erupted.

Reigns dominated when he got into the match attacking Alberto Del rio first of all then eventually getting the win over Mexico's greatest export.

Reigns for Champion?

There is no doubt that in this match the most popular man was Roman Reigns, the crowd were loudest during his entrance and they chanted for him all night.

If the Money in the Bank ladder match was a popularity contest, Reigns would win hands down but he won't have it as easy at Money in the Bank as he did on Smackdown.

These seven men are very combustible elements and with two shows remaining until they get to lock horns for the title, who knows what might happen.
