Former Inter Milan player, Esteban Cambiasso is the subject of a move to Tottenham, claims the Mirror. Spurs’ new manager Maurio Pochettino is looking to bolster his midfield by bringing some experienced players and veteran Cambiasso would be the perfect signing.

After a successful spell of 10 years at Inter Milan, Cambiasso became something of a legend for the club but was released at the end of last season. The 33 year old who scored 4 goals in his final season at Italy, is now apparently on the verge of joining a premier league club, with Manchester United and Chelsea also reporting interest.

- Moreno could be moving to North London
- Dutch star on Spurs radar
- Lukaku moving across town

While Chelsea and United already have other, much bigger names to court, Spurs are favourites to sign the Argentine war horse. However, Cambiasso certainly is not on the top of the list, with Pochettino looking for other younger talents'

It is believed that Cambiasso is being considered as a ‘backup’ and will be signed should one of Tottenham’s current experienced midfielders, depart this transfer season.
