Barcelona frontman, Alexis Sanchez, could make a return to Serie A, with champions Juventus, in a swap move that could see Spanish international, Fernando Llorente move the other way, according to the Marca in Spain.
In fact, if rumours are to be believed, the Chilean star is at the heart of two potential swap deals, the second even more high profile involving a move to Liverpool with Luis Suarez joining forces with Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou.
SANCHEZ BEING USED AS BAIT
Sanchez is currently on international duty at the World Cup with the very impressive Chilean national side and if he was paying any attention to what is going on in Europe surrounding his future, he will feel slightly aggrieved by the fact that Barcelona are offering him around in every-way possible.
Two things are pretty certain about Sanchez's career at this stage.
Firstly he is almost certainly surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou, and secondly he has absolutely no control on where he might end up.
If the latest speculation is to be believed, the versatile attacker could be the key to Barcelona landing Uruguayan international Luis Suarez from Liverpool.
Suarez is certainly on his way out of Merseyside to either Barca or Real, with the talk that Sanchez plus £30 million would come the way of Liverpool.
Sanchez would be more than welcomed by the Kop and would without question would have a starring role at the club, not to mention Champions League football.
However I get the impression that the move he really wants is to Serie A Champions, Juventus, where he will have the opportunity of linking up with his international teammate Arturo Vidal.
Sanchez has previous experience in Serie A following a 5-year stint with Udinese and has stressed in the past that he would relish a return to Italy if the right opportunity presented itself.
A move to Turin fits the bill however it appears that Antonio Conte's number one target is overpriced according to the club.
Juventus have reportedly offered Barcelona €18 million, still €7 million shy of what the Catalan club are asking.
WHEREVER SANCHEZ ENDS UP HE WILL BE A TOP ACQUISITION
It now appears they will up their offer and use Fernando Llorente as part of the deal, sending the Spanish international back the other way, a move that will please the former Athletic Bilbao striker.
