Without a doubt, the best man to lead England and the one to open the batting as well. Many of his critics have rather impetuously written him off as a good limited overs player which is absolute rubbish.

Yes, he hasn't been striking the white ball well lately but that is because he hasn't been in form, not because he isn't a good one day player. We all saw how well did he strike the cherry back in 2011, 2012 and even the earlier part of 2013 when he scored tons at a strike rate near to 100. If he gains his form back, we could be in for a treat.
