With the new football season already on the horizon, domestic managers can be forgiven for turning their attentions away from the World Cup and firmly towards their respective plans for the future.

For some the summer represents a period of uncertainty, with the transfer window being left open for other clubs to raid them of their top talents. For others it is a time for optimism, with funds being made available for squad improvements and the capture of foreign prospects.

One thing that virtually all clubs share in the months leading up to a new season starting however is the fact that they all have big decisions to make. There's not a manager alive who hasn't been forced to make an impossible call at one stage of the game or another, and more often than not these choices are made over the summer months, when player power is arguably at it's peak.

With this being the case we've decided to throw together the six toughest decisions facing big managers this summer - and the ideal solution that could ease their woes.
