Highly rated Sevilla left back Alberto Moreno has been told that he can leave this summer, but only if one of the chasing clubs pays the right price.
Both Liverpool and Tottenham are interested in signing the Spaniard, but neither have made a bid for the player who narrowly missed out the Spain's world cup team. He formed a crucial part of the Sevilla team who won this year's Europa League and could be the second key player to leave, as his Croatian teammate Ivan Rakitic is also expected to be leaving the Andalusian side.
Sevilla president Jose Castro told The Express: "We haven't reached an agreement, but talks haven't broken down. We'll wait and see what happens. If Liverpool are interested in the player and pay the right amount, he will be sold."
Castro did also add though that: "If Alberto Moreno has to stay at the club he will stay but if a club pays the amount we think is big enough for him to leave, he will leave. But there is no pressure."
It is thought that the asking price for the 21-year-old would be in the region of £20million, as he is tipped to be one of the best left backs of his generation. A move to either Spurs or Liverpool could be likely, as they both struggled defensively last season, but it is likely to be Merseyside where he ends up, as Rogers can use the lure of Champions League participation.
