With a new boss in charge at the Nou Camp big signings appear to be on the table for Barcelona, as Luis Enrique seems determined to put his mark on the La Liga side.
Reports are circulating about the possible record transfer move for Luis Suarez by Barcelona this summer. The Uruguayan has not only dominated the Premier league this season but, has ultimately showed his worth on the international stage, scoring two goals to help knock England out of the 2014 World Cup only a month after a knee operation.
However, should Suarez decide to stay in England, Barcelona seem set to raid Chelsea for another up and coming star - Eden Hazard, according to the Daily Mirror.
Winner of the PFA Young Player of the Year award, Hazard has continued to impress during the season's campaign. His fast footwork and tidy skills have driven him past opponents on the pitch and, for those fans lucky enough to witness his talent, it is clear he has a great future ahead.
Yet, when Hazard publicly scrutinised the tactics of Jose Mourinho after the Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid, he may have left his relationship rather sour with the Portuguese manager - a situation watched closely by interested rivals.
Ultimately, this may mean that the young Belgium's time is up at Stamford Bridge and with clubs such as Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain sniffing around, who could blame him for wanting to leave?
So as the glitz and glamour of La Liga calls for the 23-year-old, it appears that Mourinho, although claiming the player is not for sale, may have quite the battle ahead if he wants to keep him sporting the royal blue of Chelsea.
But the point still remains, even though possibly being attributed with a lower price tag than Suarez, Barcelona would have to part with a huge sum of money to obtain the Belgium superstar.
