Just hours after it became clear LeBron James would be opting out of his contract with the Miami Heat, the NBA franchise's official website has removed an image of the 'Big Three' which had long had pride of place at the top of the page.
Big Three Replaced
Since joining forces in Miami in 2010, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade have been the faces of the franchise and an image of the trio standing together has long been prevalent at the top of the Heat's official website.
Just hours after James' decision was made public however that image has now been changed. But it's not just LeBron who has been cut, both Wade and Bosh are out having been replaced by Ray Allen, Michael Beasley and Udonis Haslem.

Anything in it?
The move has been made by the franchise after James' agent broke the news Tuesday hat his client plans to head for free agency this offseason. As such it perhaps makes sense to remove the face of the franchise now that his future in a Heat jersey is in doubt.
But the players chosen to replace James, Wade, and Bosh are not exactly fixtures in the Heat roster for next season either.
Beasley isn't returning after his year-long contract comes to an end this summer. Ray Allen's future as a professional basketball player meanwhile remains in doubt, with rumours circulating that the veteran star may be set to call time on his NBA career.
Plus Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, who also have the option to opt out of their current deals, are yet to even comment publicly on what they plan to do this offseason meaning the franchise had little reason to remove them from their main website banner.
LeBron may of course return to Miami next season, with some suggesting he has chosen to opt out in order to force the franchise to spend during the offseason and improve their roster after a season which ultimately ended in failure following their humbling NBA Finals 4-1 series defeat.
And fans will certainly be hoping that Micky Arison can stretch his wallet a little so that they can at least have some marquee faces back at the website home page, rather than a veteran and two role players.
The next few weeks down in Miami are sure to be fascinating and with the first move made by one of the Big Three today news on Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh can't be far away.
