We start with World Cup news and Luis Suarez's shocking bite on Giorgio Chiellini Tuesday. The Uruguay striker is alleged to have bitten the Italian defender, and the news has driven debate all around North America.

Former Heavyweight boxing champion and sporting bite victim Evander Holyfield added his thoughts on the matter saying the incident provided a sad day for sport.

Elsewhere, the US national team are preparing for their pivotal final group game in the World Cup on Sunday.

The Americans face Germany with both teams needing a draw to progress. However, US head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has denied that the two teams will partake in a gentleman's agreement.

Across to the NBA, and four-time league MVP LeBron James has decided to opt out of his contract with the Miami Heat.

This means the basketball superstar will test the free agency market this summer, but it still remains a possibility that he could end up back at the Heat.

And finally in baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees 7-6, while the Chicago Cubs defeated the Cincinnati Reds 7-3.
