Arsenal have been put on red alert following the news that Louis Van Gaal is no longer interested in the services Nani. According to the ExpressArsene Wenger is believed to be interested in the 27 year old, even more so now with news that Santi Cazorla could be on his way out of the Emirates in a possible move to Athletico Madrid.

The dynamic playmaker could be an ideal fit into the Arsenal line up next season. He's a skilful player, and on his day, has the ability to bamboozle defences and unleash rocket shots that leave goalkeepers with no chance.

Lazy

Nani does however come with a reputation of being both lazy, and greedy. We have become accustom to Arsenal purchasing youngsters for the French 2nd-tier in recent years, therefore it certainly comes as a surprise that Wenger is looking at players with a 'bad boy' reputation.

Financially sound

Mario Balotelli is another high priority target on Arsenal's radar, and with the new kit and stadium sponsorship deals, with Puma and Emirates Airline respectively, we can expect to see a few more big names linked with a move to north London.

Good value

The winger is expected to cost between £8m-£12m, and the potential that Nani does poses, this transfer could be one of the best bargain buys from the whole window.

- Who will it be?
- Balotelli for Arsenal is nonsense!
- Is this your dream Arsenal team for next season?
- Will Wenger get his man?

Arsenal fans are certainly divided on this possible transfer, some thinking it's a risk worth taking, while others are sure that his attitude will not change and that there are better option for the Gunners.

Keep your eye on this one, it could be one of the shock transfers of the whole window.
