Arsenal have released official confirmation that 11 players have left the club ahead of next season.
The club's official website states that the 11 players will be allowed to leave Arsenal officially when their contracts expire on June 30.
The 11 players are Nicklas Bendtner, Ju Young Park, Bacary Sagna, Lukasz Fabianski, Zak Ansah, Chuks Aneke, Daniel Boateng, Zach Fagan, and Leander Siemann while Kim Sallstrom and Emiliano Viviano have completed their loan spells.
Bacary Sagna is the latest Arsenal player to swap the Emirates Stadium for the Etihad, as the French international has agreed terms on a move to Manchester City. Fabianski has signed for Swansea while Ansah will begin preseason with Charlton Athletic.
Arsenal have been linked with moves for Ivory Coast international Serge Aurier as a replacement for Sagna, while Arsene Wenger is expected to sign another goalkeeper to back-up Wojciech Szczesny.
Out of contract
It's long been reported that Danish international Bendtner will leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, and the Gunners are ready to bring in another big-name striker to compete with first-choice Olivier Giroud.
Bendtner failed to make much of an impression on the first-team, and instead was best known for his off-the-field antics. South Korean international Park was signed from Monaco in 2011 but he barely made a dent on the first-team too. In fact, he only made one Premier League appearance in his three years.
Kallstrom joined on loan from Spartak Moscow in the January transfer window, but in a bizarre turn of events, he reported to the Gunners training ground carrying an injury and he was only able to make three league appearances.
Viviano was brought to the club as third-choice keeper behind Szczesny and Fabianski.
Aneke, a 20-year-old striker, spent time on loan at Stevenage, Preston North End, and Crewe Alexandra twice but never made a Premier League appearance for Arsenal. He has joined Belgian side Zulte Waregem, the club Thorgan Hazard played for on loan last season.
Siemann, Boateng and Fagan are all free agents.
