Vickie Guerrero writes a letter to the WWE Universe
Just days after finally departing from the WWE after nine wonderful years; Vickie Guerrero has sent out a letter through WWE.com thanking the entire WWE Universe. She thanked the McMahon’s and how Eddie Guerrero loved Vince McMahon as a father amongst other people.
She went into great deal regarding backstage staff, the divas, the commentators, make-up team and superstars she has worked with such as Dolph Ziggler and Edge.

Vickie is leaving the company on very good terms and a return will be welcomed in the future if needs be. Many of the divas backstage consider her a mother figure and a Hall of Fame induction is also being considered. Vickie also had creative input in how her departure would play out. She wanted the Eddie Guerrero theme music and shimmy whilst the WWE also inserted their own ideas in a fitting end to her career.
Best of luck to her in her new journey.
Potential Money in the Bank and SummerSlam spoiler
As we previously reported, John Cena is scheduled to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at Money in the Bank. He will then go on to defend the championship at SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar. Now that rumour looks even more likely to happen as WWE have sent their retail partners, such as Amazon a SummerSlam poster which reveals that John Cena and Brock Lesnar will in fact be going one on one.

Over the last week or so rumours have been spreading thick and fast regarding the marriage and rumoured pregnancy of former Divas Champion; AJ Lee. It had been reported that AJ and CM Punk were married on 13 June before news on the pregnancy broke online.
The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that AJ was supposed to be back with the company full-time a couple of weeks ago. She asked to have some time off which was granted after Paige defeated her for the Divas Championship, and that time off was granted until a couple of weeks ago. If the pregnancy rumours are true, then don’t expect AJ Lee back until next year.
Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins
Dean Ambrose has been revealed as a Money in the Bank competitor and will go up against former Shield stable mate Seth Rollins in the match. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are the two favourites right now with Dolph Ziggler not far behind, but the original plan right now is to have Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose compete in a one on one match at WWE Battleground next month.
Bad News Barrett injured
On the Tuesday tapings of Friday Night SmackDown Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett injured his shoulder after Jack Swagger threw him into the barricade. It looks increasingly likely that Barrett will not participate in the ladder match as he will need treatment. WWE.com have released a statement regarding his injury.
Josh Mathews released
After 13 years with the WWE the company have finally cut ties with Josh Mathews, the announcer, commentator and Raw and pay-per-view post and pre-show host was released from his contract in further budget cuts with the WWE.
He competed in Tough Enough back in 2001 and stayed with the company since and has been moved to the alumni section on WWE.com, Renee Young will officially be taking over from hosting duties on the pre and post-shows starting this Sunday at Money in the Bank.
Brad Maddox fools the WWE fans
Former General Manager of Monday Night Raw Brad Maddox has posted a new video on his YouTube account in his ‘Brad Maddox vacation experience’ series. He is taking time off right now but in this video he urged the fans to call the police after he made it seem like he was stuck in a cave somewhere.
Judging by the comments, it seems as if fans did in fact contact local authorities, it remains to be seen what the WWE make of this as it doesn’t go down too well with management. You can click here to watch the short clip.
