Published Add your comment

Floyd Mayweather is the highest paid athlete in the world. That money is the result of the boxer developing a reputation as the pound for pound king.

But with that supremacy comes a tendency to do stupid and arrogant things that turn him into a pantomime villain people want to see knocked out. It comes with the territory of being the blockbuster king of sport.

However, sometimes Floyd Mayweather can go too far with what he says leading to what you would call a hugely embarrassing situation for him. Not only that, Mayweather has on occasion embarrassed himself in the ring with some cheap shots taken at opponents.

Eventually he will be brought down to earth with a bang and that time can't come soon enough for some. Next year he's highly likely to fight Amir Khan and his 'fastest hands in boxing,' meaning Mayweather could lose his undefeated tag and suffer his most embarrassing night in boxing.

This leads us to the crux of this article, the slideshow. Click through to see the most embarrassing and shocking moments of Floyd Mayweather's career.
