The headlines just seem to follow this man about, whether it be signs of greatness or signs of sadness. Why does Luis Suarez do this?
Suarez has now made the headlines once again for the wrong reasons. Less than a week ago he was showing the world how mesmerising he can be by scoring two vital goals against England. This is the Suarez we want to see. However, we have to talk about the dark side of Suarez, the Mr.Hyde so to speak.
Suarez has now been accused of biting someone for a third time, this is obviously outrageous. This is the sort of thing you expect from dogs, and even then you are shocked. But this is about a grown man biting another man on the biggest sporting stage in the world. On the streets he would be arrested.
Suarez does not have a clean record, as stated this is the third time he has bitten someone but he did also swear at opposition fans and more importantly he was racist towards Manchester United left back Patrice Evra. He claimed the goals against England were redemption - but I say how can you be racist, a cannibal and a crude individual and expect redemption? Surely, it is the victims who expect redemption?
However, I understand how he wants to be seen for his footballing talent rather than is off/on field mad antics, but he only has himself to blame. The English (and world) press had every right to lambast him, but Suarez doesn't need this - he needs to nurtured and counselled. He obviously has a different mind set to others, it is evident even the way he plays football. But he must have some deeper problems possibly relating to his tough upbringing in Uruguay.
Will Liverpool forgive him?
Suarez has the world at his feet, not his teeth. He is possibly the third best player in the world and would walk into any team at the moment, but his antics that make the headlines are just disgusting and need to be eradicated. However, he is a serial offender and may no longer be forgiven by his current club Liverpool.
Love him or loathe him, you cannot deny he is simply world class but the man needs serious help.
