Football News

There are still roughly ten weeks to go before this summer’s transfer window slams shut, but some pretty big deals have already gone through. Cesc Fabregas has joined Chelsea, David Luiz recently completed a move to Paris Saint-Germain, while Manchester United have acquired the services of both Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw inside the past 24 hours.

There are a handful of high-profile players at big clubs, however, hoping to add their names to the list of completed summer transfers before September 2. These are the players desperate, for whatever reason, to leave their current clubs.

The shortlist

We’ve compiled a shortlist of five star players who reportedly want to quit their respective clubs this summer. Whether they’ll be granted their wishes depends on their current employers as well as any interested clubs, who will need to fork out significant sums of cash to secure the players’ services.

Click on ‘begin slideshow’ to see the five featured players and find out where they might be heading to over the forthcoming weeks.

Who knows, they might even be coming to a club near you.
