Mikel Arteta's agent has ruled out a potential move to La Liga club Athletic Bilbao, according to Sky Sports.
Arteta's future at the Emirates Stadium is hanging in the balance. Speculation circulating around regarding a move away are becoming more apparent, with Spain being the most likely destination.

Agent Rubbishes claims
With strong rumours of talks between the two clubs, Arteta's agent Inaki Ibanez Inaki Ibanez has wasted no time in claiming the rumours false, saying that his client is not ready to leave the north London club.
Ibanez has adamantly stated that there has been no talks with Bilbao about a transfer and that the the Spaniard has absolutely no intention of leaving the Gunners.
"This is totally false. Mikel has no interest in leaving Arsenal", Ibanez told reporters, when asked about the rumours.
Having been born in San Sebastian, Arteta is already extremely familiar with Spanish football and indeed La Liga, after developing his trade with Barcelona's famous academy, before spending a season with Bilbao rival Real Sociedad in 2004.
With Arsenal being linked with several younger midfielders - as they usually are - Arteta's immediate future at the club is being thrown into even more doubt but if he does depart, Spain may be the best solution.
The former Everton and Rangers man has now spent three season at Arsenal, helping them finally end their frustrating nine year trophy-less spell but is it now time for the him to move on?
