At UFC Fight Night 44 Cub Swanson extended his win streak to an impressive six victories, after he defeated Jeremy Stephens via unanimous decision.
Not long after that victory, fellow Featherweight Chang Sung Jung took to Twitter and quite simply wrote to Swanson: "Fight me."
'The Korean Zombie' has not fought for almost a year since his appearance at UFC 163, when he fought Jose Aldo for the featherweight title, losing the fight by fourth round TKO.
During the fight, Jung suffered a shoulder injury that has caused extensive surgery, however he is almost fully fit and set for an Octagon return this year.
As for Swanson, his double hat-trick victory has him banging on the door for a shot at the UFC Featherweight Title.
The California native has defeated some dangerous opponents including the likes of Ross Pearson, Dustin Poirier and Denis Siver.
It's likely that Swanson would have got a shot at the 145lbs title if it wasn't for his previous performance against champion Aldo; back in 2009, The Brazilian devastated Swanson via a double flying knee TKO just eight seconds into the fight.
If Swanson has to fight again in order to gain a title shot, facing Chang Sung Jung makes the most sense. He's a top Featherweight and would be a huge test.
