It is believed that former Blackpool winger Tom Ince has held discussions about a possible move to Hull City, as reported by Sky Sports News.

‘Positive talks’

Having left Blackpool at the end of last season, the 22 year-old winger is now looking for a new club and it appears that the KC Stadium is the most likely destination at present. Ince spent the latter half of last campaign on loan at Crystal Palace and it is likely that he will look to further his top-flight experience with a host of clubs, both domestic and abroad, expressing an interest in the winger.

Just last month it was reported that Ince had held talks with Italian giants Inter Milan, with whom his father Paul used to play. He was also linked with a switch to newly-promoted QPR but speaking to Sky Sports News he said: "(The talks) were very positive. It's still ongoing but that's the first day of talks, so yes it has all gone well. We will see where it goes in the next couple of days.”

Even though Ince is a free agent, Blackpool will be entitled to compensation as the youngster is under-23 years of age. However, this fee will still be considerably lower than any potential transfer revenue that could have been accumulated should the winger have left last season.

Third summer signing

It now appears that Steve Bruce is closing in on his third summer signing following the confirmed transfers of Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass from Tottenham and Norwich respectively. Ince was quick to praise the work that the former Manchester United defender has done in the off-season to strengthen Hull’s chances for the upcoming campaign: "Steve Bruce has been absolutely fantastic for this club. The club is looking to go forward and it looks like they are bringing in the right type of players to do that."

Ince, who progressed through Liverpool’s academy system and was linked with a return to the Reds last summer will add some much needed dynamism to the Hull City side and allow the club to build upon their 16th placed finish last season.
