Liverpool completed their third major signing of the window with Adam Lallana arriving from Southampton, and it seems they aren't wasting time in trying to make it four.
The've been heavily linked with Xherdan Shaqiri - and according to reports they've put forward a contract offer to the Swiss star. They remain the only team in the hunt for his services but it's not assured that he'll be at Anfield next season, with Bayern also offering a new deal and the chance to stay and work his way into the first team.
Liverpool are keen to add Shaqiri to their squad as they prepare for a future without Luis Suarez, who could be on his way to Barcelona. The winger will cost in the region of £15 million, but with Suarez likely to fetch around £80 million they should have plenty of money to further add to their squad before the summer is out.
