Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Barcelona winger Pedro, with the Catalan club insisting that he is not for sale this summer.
The Spanish international looked to be on his way out of the Nou Camp this summer, and it is unlikely that he would be short of suitors.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for wing Pedro for some time, but the club's sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta says he isn't for sale - although he did admit that Alexis Sanchez, another Arsenal target, was up for grabs.
"Regarding the future of Alexis Sanchez, there have been offers for the player," he revealed.
"But I do not know how it will all end - we are looking for a solution which will be best for everyone. Pedro, however, is not transferable. I count on Pedro for the future."
There's been plenty of speculation surrounding Arsenal in recent weeks, but with the transfer window now open very little activity. A striker remains their main priority, but as it stands they appear no closer to solving their problems in attack.
