WWE have today announced that they have released a twelfth superstar in recent weeks, former NXT Diva Emma.

Eleven other superstars were released a few weeks ago but now it seems after her arrest earlier this week, WWE don't want to keep the diva on their roster.

Emma, real name Tenille Dashwood was arrested hours before WWE Monday Night Raw this week accused of shoplifting what was later revealed to be an Ipod case and after WWE kept her off the TV that night, despite her partner Santino Marella making an appearance.

On Tuesday WWE released a statement which said: WWE is aware that Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) was arrested for shoplifting. Ms. Dashwood is ultimately responsible for her personal actions."

This then led to many online rumours that the Diva would go down the same route as Aksana just two weeks ago and be released from the company, officially no word was heard from WWE until today when they released the following statement:

“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Diva Emma as of today, July 2, 2014. WWE wishes Emma the best in all her future endeavours."

This was stated on the WWE website and now it seems WWE's released total has now risen to 12.

It makes sense for the Diva to have been released because the last thing WWE needed right now was bad publicity, so for Emma, a role model and household name to be arrested for what is known in America as sixth-degree larceny was a step in the wrong direction for the popular superstar.

She was famed for her wacky dance and entrance to the ring and was a sort of goofy character alongside oddball Santino helping him during his feud with Fandango and Summer Rae. Now Summer and Layla have entered a feud of their own and AJ Lee made a successful return to the divas division on Monday it looked like Emma's time was up and now WWE have finally given her her marching orders.

It was only weeks ago that the Australian superstar took part in her first ever Wrestlemania and was recognised as a big superstar in her home country but it seems she didn't have enough of a pull with the WWE Universe for them to fight for her, and she is still yet to respond to her dismissal.
