Guillermo Ochoa's agent has revealed that the goalkeeper has had contact with a number of interested clubs but is yet to receive any official offers, the Metro reports.
The Mexican has had an impressive World Cup in Brazil, despite his team being knocked out in the last 16.
Premier League interest
The 28-year old officially left Ligue 1 side Ajaccio yesterday and he is now one of the most wanted free agents in the game. Most of the interest appears to have come from the Premier League, in the shape of Arsenal and Liverpool.
For Ajaccio, he made 112 appearances over three years at the club after his move from Mexican side America in 2011. He never won a title or cup in France, but he did manage to be crowned as the best Mexican goalkeeper from 2000 though to 2010.
No official offers made
Now the Reds are reportedly lining up a bid now that the World Cup has ended for Ochoa. However, the player's agent claims there is still yet to be an offer from any team.
"Many clubs are interested in my client but we still have not received any concrete offers. Now it is normal that many clubs will be interested in him after he played so well at the World Cup," he told the Italian media in quotes that were featured by the Metro.
Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are also reported to be keeping tabs on the situation but he is believed to prefer a move to Anfield over other potential transfer destinations.
