France World Cup man Antoine Griezmann had impressed in Brazil during the 2014 World Cup and is now on top of the transfer list for many clubs in Europe.
PSG and Atletico Madrid, last season's Ligue 1 and La Liga champions, are battling to bring the French man, Griezmann, to their side after impressive performances in Brazil.
Made things exciting
Although France was knocked out 1-0 by Germany with a 13-minute Hummels' header in the quarter-final in Rio, Griezmann was prominent in making it a mouth-watering clash against their closest neighbours.
No one knew much about him before the 2014 World Cup started, and entering the tournament as Frank Ribéry's replacement after the Bayern Munich winger was ruled out from a back-injury, many did not know what to think seeing his name in Didier Deschamps' first 23 - France had lost their best player according to many.
A key player
Griezmann did not score in Brazil, as France's second goal against Nigeria was counted as an own goal by Joseph Yobo, but the man had been a key player for France in their trio forward.
Comparisons with Ribéry quickly stopped after he scored twice in their 8-0 win against Jamaica and netted the only goal against Paraguay in friendlies before the 2014 World Cup.
And creating those many chances for France in the group stages and making an imminent impact against the African side as a replacement of Olivier Giroud late in the game, Griezmann was the games changer; securing 'Les Bleus' a quarter-final place was nothing less he could gift his country.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined Real Sociedad after he was scouted by the Spaniard, aged 13 . After spending two years with the reserve-team, Griezmann was called to play with Martin Lasarte's first-XI in the 2009-2010 season where he scored five goals in four matches.
Prominent in Spain
The following season Real Sociedad returned to the top division in Spain La Liga, Griezmann was one of the men to reward.
Playing an average of 35 La Liga games per season, since 2010, France new talisman did not stop to increased and grow as a top player.
Although Real Sociedad finished seventh last season, with a tough rivalry at the top of the table, Griezmann scored 17 goals for his club and three assists in 35 appearances.
Griezmann is a growing talented youngster and has a promising future - the top European clubs will be his destinations throughout the next 10 years.
