Try as you might it's impossible to think of a piece of transfer business that won't aggravate a group - often fairly large - of football supporters.

By nature most fans are fickle and what pleases one team's supporters will likely go some way to winding up others. Needless to say with the summer transfer window looming large, and deals being made left right and centre as a result, fans have got all this to look forward to.

For let's face it; what's a good transfer window without one or two extremely controversial deals that break fans' hearts and turn a player from hero to zero in an instant?
