Funkadactyls break up is great news for the divas division

For the first time in years the WWE Divas Division has become exciting to watch, with four different stories happening at the same time.

This time last year there was the Total Divas against the Real Divas and that was the only story but now there is AJ Lee v Paige, Stephanie McMahon v Brie Bella, Layla v Summer Rae and the destruction of the Funkadactyls, meaning there is always an important part of the stories playing out on either Smackdown or Raw.

Break up

The Funkadactyls finally breaking up is great news for the WWE Universe and the divas division as a whole because finally Naomi can be used to her full potential. For months we have heard JBL talk about her athleticism and how she is the most athletic diva in WWE right now but she always comes up short when she fights for the title.

Cameron isn't anywhere near Naomi's league but she has been improving in the ring as of late and could put up a fight when the two go at it. We saw on Raw when they turned against each other that they were pretty much over and Naomi tweeted after the show:

"The #funkadactyls are no more...the worst part is that I've lost a friend #wwemontreal"

So it's official, they are over and possibly set to enter a feud against each other, whilst at the same time we will have Paige and AJ Lee fighting for the Divas Championship in what has been dubbed the Trish and Lita feud of our generation.

The Authority

Not only that but since The Authority began picking on Daniel Bryan a few months ago and Brie Bella put her hands on Stephanie McMahon it seems a rivalry has been bubbling under the surface.

Brie quit the company at Payback when Stephanie tried to fire her but she did make a brief appearance backstage at Money in the Bank until Stephanie had her escorted out by security.

Since her departure Stephanie has been taking her anger out on her twin sister Nikki by putting her in handicap matches, but now it seems Brie is set to make her WWE return in a match against one half of The Authority.

Early rumours state that the match could be made as a career match where if Brie wins she will get her job back. Either way, this is a good sign for the division heading into the second biggest pay-per-view of the year, especially if Stephanie is set to make her in-ring return.

I should also mention that Layla and Summer are also in a feud over Fandango and that meant that there were two divas matches at Money in the Bank, which can also only be a good sign for the division.

This is all good news for the women who are usually relegated to a five minute slot, four different rivalry's can only be good news and it will only see the best rise to the top.
