Chelsea's swoop for full-back Feilipe Luis has been held up as negotiations over a fee continue, and now the player himself has now admitted he's uncertain over his future, simply saying "we'll see" when asked by reporters who he'll be playing for next season.
The Blues are believed to be unwilling to cough up his release clause which is reported to stand at around £21 million. Instead they would prefer not to pay more than £15 million, which Atletico Madrid won't accept.
The issue leaves Chelsea in something of a quandary given that Ashley Cole has been allowed to leave at the end of the contract. The veteran defender has now joined Roma, leaving Cesar Azpilicueta who is naturally a right-back as Jose Mourinho's only option there.
Negotiations will likely continue for the coming weeks, but Chelsea will want to get the deal wrapped up as soon as possible before the start of the season. As yet there has been no update on Chelsea deals for Tiago, while Diego Costa's transfer has not been fully completed as yet.
