Chelsea have made a £7m bid for PSG's French star Adrien Rabiot after the midfielder rejected a new contract with the Ligue 1 champions, according to the Metro.

The 19-year-old made a big impression last season for the French giants and is generally considered one of the most exciting young midfielders in Europe. Manchester United have also been linked.

Strong interest

Many top clubs are also thought to be interested in acquiring Rabiot's signature, including the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Serie A champions Juventus, but reports suggest that Rabiot would only be interested in a switch to Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City history

As a youngster in 2005, Rabiot was a part of Manchester City's youth development, but made a switch to PSG before the Manchester club was taken over in 2008.

His skills

Rabiot has been credited for his vision and passing range for PSG, and the London based Blues are looking to add to their summer signings and further strengthen their midfield with the acquisition of the French wonderkid.
