A genius, a pioneer, a trouble-maker, an authoritarian...No matter how you see Louis van Gaal as a manager, there’s no questioning that he won’t bring mass change to Manchester United.

Following the pitiful performances of last term the Old Trafford hierarchy made the decision to appoint a man very much in the same mould as the great Sir Alex Ferguson as their head coach, all with a view to see their club restored to the glory days of yesteryear through a system-wide shake-up.

So just what changes can United fans expect to see Van Gaal introduce? Here we pick through four that are potentially the biggest.
