Danny Welbeck has come out as a shock transfer target for Real Madrid according to Spanish newspaper, El Mundo Deportivo.

Real Madrid could be without major attacking reinforcements next season with Alvaro Morata set to depart and Angel Di Maria also set to follow him out the door. Paul Pogba could also make a huge move back to England, the former United youngster could move to Chelsea this time in his second stint in the Premier League.

Unlikely Target

Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has been attracted to Welbeck who is extremely versatile with the ability to play out wide or spearhead an attack as striker. The Englishman who was close to leaving last year under David Moyes but has since vowed to stay and fight for his position in the United starting lineup after Louis Van Gaal begun his regime.

The Englishman does have great ability but hasn't really shone consistently with him being quite a bit part player but a sensational move to Real Madrid that no one expected could revive his career and push him on further or it could see him dwindle away into the distance.

Big Money Target

France international Paul Pogba could return to the Premier League after a successful stint at Juventus winning both the Serie A and Italian Super Cup twice in his two seasons at the club on top of winning the Golden Boy award for 2013 having impressed enormously.

Pogba, himself, has fueled talk of his move to Chelsea by posing with fans outside Harrods in Knightsbridge and was even spotted in West London on Thursday. Juventus have their own potential targets and are trying to sell players in order to fund these moves and are wishing for close to £60m for the talented midfielder however this may price him out of a move with former employees Manchester United also interested in his services.

Other United Comings and Goings

The club has shown major interest in Chile World Cup star Arturo Vidal with United hoping  they can make a breakthrough in their talks between themselves and Vidal's agent, Fernando Felicevich, according to the Daily Mail. A deal that would see Juventus net a potential £35m to add to their own transfer fund. Vidal's contract does not end until 2017 but they are desperate for much needed funds, similar to the reason of why the are potentially selling Paul Pogba.

As well as players coming in, the Manchester outfit are also letting some players go, as Bebe looks set to leave the club with Portuguese newspaper, A Bola claiming that the winger, who has only played 7 games in a United shirt in 4 years, will be moving to Benfica in the coming weeks despite new manager Van Gaal offering him another chance.
