As the 2014 World Cup has ended, now seems like the ideal time to reflect on what were the most memorable moments of the tournaments.
Germany's victory over Argentina in the final in Rio de Janeiro was one they probably deserved on the day and most certainly deserved due to being the most impressive team throughout the tournament.
Mario Götze's extra-time goal was a delight and deserving of being the decisive goal that secured the Germans their fourth title after a match that was both tight and entertaining. Argentina will be kicking themselves for missing some golden opportunities to take the lead in the match, but they helped contribute to a fitting end to one of the best World Cups yet.
There were some really impressive performances in Brazil and picking the most memorable moments is no easy feat. I have done it nonetheless and decided that since football is 11 players a side, I will go with my 11 most memorable moments.
