CM Punk has left a void in the WWE. A void that no one has stepped up to fill.

The Chicago Made, straight edge brawler, was an ever popular figure for the fans in his WWE run. Chants of “C-M-PUNK” still ring out around arenas.

Having walked out on his contract the day after the Royal Rumble, Punk has kept his distance from wrestling in general, refusing to comment on anything to do with his current ( possibly former) employers.

Despite his conspicuous lack of activity on twitter, Punk has not actually dropped off the face of the planet, he has just been getting on with his life.

He has married WWE Diva, AJ Lee, and been attending more Chicago Blackhawk hockey games than normal.

But the question still on the lips of wresting fans remains will CM Punk ever come back?

His contract, which he signed before that infamous ‘Money in the Bank’ match against John Cena, is due to expire sometime this month.

So how can Vince McMahon and Triple H tempt back Phil Brooks?

He is still sorely missed from the company. Punk provided that link between the indie scene and becoming a legitimate world superstar. Whilst Daniel Bryan followed that same path his star hasn't shined as brightly and, after his recent injury woes, probably never will.

Punk has his place in the WWE. It’s a just a matter of coming to terms and ironing out the issues that have made Punk unhappy in the past.

Here’s four ways in which the WWE can tempt Punk to sign a new contact.
