Toni Kroos

New Manchester United manager may have already made his first mistake before officially taking over at Old Trafford.

His failure to complete the signing of German midfielder Toni Kroos is looking more and more foolish every time the 24-year old steps onto a pitch. He now looks set to join Real Madrid from Bayern Munich after the tournament.

Kroos has assisted four of Germany's goals during the World Cup, scoring two of his own during their 7-1 rout over host nation Brazil.

It's astonishing to think that Kroos will probably have two more World Cups in his career and has already raked up 50 appearances for his country.

The complete midfielder will dominate international and World football in many years to come and Manchester United fans will be ruing missing out on the chance to sign him.
