Luis Suarez is set to sign for the Spanish giants after flying from Montevideo to Barcelona on Monday.
The Uruguayan has been spotted with his wife Sonia and children Delfina and Benjamin on the flight from Montevideo to Barcelona after Liverpool confirmed that they'd agreed a fee for the forward.
After touching down, Suarez was picked up by his agent Pere Guardiola, brother of Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola.
Reports suggest that Barcelona will pay between £55 million and £75 million for the striker's services, but the Catalans won't be able to unveil their new signing in front of their fans at the Camp Nou, because of a FIFA.
Because of biting Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup, Suarez won't play football until October so won't make his debut at the Nou Camp until then.
Praise from Blatter
Even though Suarez's ban, FIFA president Sepp Blatter spoke with praise for the talented Uruguayan, saying, "This player will come back to football on the pitch and what he has shown on the pitch, we saw his tactical and technical capacity and his smell for goal. I hope he will be back."
He then added: "He is now at one of the greatest clubs in the world.”
With such comments from the FIFA president it's just a matter of time before the transfer becomes official and Luis Suarez gets the number 9 shirt at Barcelona.
