Italian giants AC Milan have been linked with a move for out of favour Real Madrid playmaker Isco.
The attacking midfielder, 22, is being courted with a transfer to Italy after only one season in the Spanish capital, and Tuttosport claims he could be one of the Rossoneri’s top transfer targets.
The report goes on to claim that AC Milan are eyeing up a possible loan deal for the player, with the option to purchase the player at the end of the deal included.
Isco joined Madrid after an outstanding couple of seasons at Malaga, but has struggled for first team action with Los Blancos this season, scoring eight goals and assisting six in his 32 appearances in La Liga.
Moving to Milan would definitely give the midfielder more first team opportunities, with big names such as Stephan El Shaarawy and Robinho, who is expected to move to MLS franchise Orlando City this summer, rumoured to be leaving the San Siro.
New Milan boss and former player Filippo Inzaghi wants to offload Robinho before a deal can be made for Isco, but it seems a radical overhaul of players will be happening this summer for the Italian club after a poor season, finishing in a lowly eight place, and not securing any European football for next season.
Isco’s current club Madrid are also going through a summer of change, with many players looking to be on the move.
As Khedira, Di Maria and Benzema could all be on the way out. However, Madrid have completed the signing of Bayern player Toni Kroos and are looking to finalise deals for Radamel Falcao and World Cup star James Rodriguez, which would put Isco further down the pecking order.
