Young talent Cristian Tello has joined Porto on a two-year loan deal from Spanish giants Barcelona.

The Spanish forward, 22, completed his loan deal to the well-known Portuguese side, who finished 3rd in the Primeira Liga, ready for the new season, with the club having an option to buy the player permanently.

Young star

Tello is certainly a young rising star, scoring five goals in 30 appearances in all competitions last season, this being impressive as he is a player lower down the pecking order at Barcelona, so this loan deal can only do him good and get him some much needed experience.

The arrival of new signings at the club would push Tello even further down the order, with ex-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez completing his £75 million move to the Catalan giants.

Barcelona have been very busy so far this transfer window with different players coming and going. Centre midfielder Ivan Rakitic has joined from Sevilla, while goalkeepers Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Claudio Bravo signed from Borussia Monchengladbach and Real Sociedad respectively.

Best players

However they had to let go of some of their best players, as Cesc Fabregas has left for Chelsea, and Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal. Other first team players that could still depart include midfielder Xavi and right-back Dani Alves.

Before his move, Tello was a target for Premier League team Everton, who had a fruitful loan deal with Deulofeu last campaign, scoring four times in his yearlong loan spell, which shows that the Barcelona youngsters are the real deal.
