Triple H hints WWE deal for Sting may be in the pipeline

Published 4 Comments

WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H was interviewed by Michael Cole in his weekly chat for WWE.com on Wednesday, and like usual he came up with some headline grabbing comments.

One of the most talked about wrestlers right now is Sting, a legend that hasn't even featured in WWE. This is because he was best known for his tenure in World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Rumors in WWE circles are usually just that, rumors. But every now and then certain rumors take flight and turn into reality. One that is doing the rounds right now across all the dirt sheets is the possibility of a WWE deal for Sting in the near future.

Cole asked Triple H about the possibility of a WWE deal for Sting in their weekly chat, and WWE's COO came up with an intriguing answer.

"It's an interesting question Michael. There has been a lot of speculation over the years. Over the years I'd heard that Bruno Sammartino would never be part of the WWE again.

"I heard for years that the Ultimate Warrior would never be part of the WWE again. And I've heard that Sting would never be part of the WWE. But if there's one thing I've learnt over the years, never say never if it's best for business," Triple H explained in the video below.

Video game

The main reason Sting's name has been on every WWE fans lips in the last month has been because the legend has now become a playable character in a WWE video game. That game will be WWE 2K15, and fans who pre-order the game, which is set to come out this fall, will get Sting as a playable character.

WWE fans will certainly enjoy that, but what's your thoughts on Sting possibly getting a WWE deal? Do you think it will happen and do you want it to happen? Leave comments in the box below.
