To say that the WWE has a serious problem could - to anyone familiar with the stock exchange and their business operations be somewhat of an understatement.

But on TV and in the ring is where they made their name and that is where I will be focusing on, and theres a big problem facing them right now.

We are 24 hours removed from the Battleground Pay-Per-View, one that in my opinion was one of the best of the year.

But that event was a massive eye opener for myself and I hope that other people have noticed it too.

Think about the biggest matches at the event, other than the fatal-4-way WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, the most hyped matches included no titles.

Bray Wyatt v Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose v Seth Rollins - even if it never actually happened and the clash of the countries between Jack Swagger and Rusev.

Now there is nothing wrong with these matches, they were great to watch, very well built up and all contributed to a great PPV, but a distinct lack of gold included.

Last night there was an enjoyable battle royal for the vacated Intercontinental Championship, a very competitive and impressive divas match and a two out of three falls tag-team match for the titles that was, to be completely honest, awesome.

Away from Battleground, the WWE has a big problem with generating interest in their lower ranked titles.

take the US Title for instance, many expect current champion Sheamus to feud with the Miz and unify it with the Intercontinental championship.

but before now what feuds were there for Sheamus? well he was used in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank, so not much really.

Former Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett was bringing life to the division before his injury and it will be interesting to see how the Miz can spark it to life.

The Divas championship match between Paige and AJ Lee was a great encounter which showed that there is actually life in the women's division.

But I feel that the Divas may be suffering with the same problem as the tag team division - a lack of good competition.

Think about the divas, Paige and AJ Lee are top quality, but the rest are caught up in fairly tame feuds (Layla and Summer Rae) or just not that exciting in the ring (everybody else).

I feel like its the tag team division that is suffering the most right now though.

Monday marks the 140th day of the Usos title reign and the whole division has just gotten a little stale for me.

Yes, they had an epic battle with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan at Battleground but take a look at the rest of the tag team division.

Rybaxel, definitely championship material but I still think Ryback should be back in the World Heavyweight Championship picture.

Los Matadores are nothing more than the Damian Sandow of the tag team division and are just a bit of fun while Goldust and Stardust are, well, Goldust and Stardust.

The tag team division needs a shot of life injected back into it and its not the only one.

With Night of Champions fast approaching they will need to find a way to increase the quality of the mid card championships.
