Nico Rosberg was the best driver at the German Grand Prix (1)

The German Grand Prix returned to Hockenheim last weekend and was won by Nico Rosberg on his home soil.

Rosberg lead

The German secured pole position and converted it comfortably into his fourth victory of the season.

Rosberg now leads the drivers' championship by 14 points after his teammate and closest title rival Lewis Hamilton finished in third having come through from the very back of the grid.

Impressive Bottas

The pair were joined on the podium by Valtteri Bottas, who has now recorded consecutive second place finishes in the Williams car.
