Summerslam is just over three weeks away and aside from the males dominating the headlines with Brock Lesnar V John Cena, Dean Ambrose v Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns v Randy Orton, the girls are also creating waves on their own.
Stephanie McMahon v Brie Bella should be the ending of an intense feud that has gone on for months, a feud which has seen Brie's sister Nikki dragged into the action and punished on her sister's behalf in her absence. It seems their match at "The biggest party of the summer" will be a way for Brie to get her job back and could open the door to a new feud with her sister.
Monday night on Raw Nikki was subjected to a 4-on-1 handicap match against Alicia, Eva Marie, Cameron and Rosa Mendez where she was well and truly defeated. This came after weeks of handicap matches and a 5-on-1 handicap match on Main Event a few weeks ago.
Nikki set to take on Brie?
Instead of all this abuse turning Nikki onto Stephanie, it seems Nikki is set to turn on Brie instead and instigate a Bella feud. This could go many ways; Stephanie could challenge Brie to a match at Summerslam where if she wins she gets her job back, but Nikki could come in and attack Brie during the match, technically that would be a win via disqualification.
The two have a storied past. They would have - they are sisters. Both women are former Divas Champions but back when Nikki held the title in 2012, the two tried twin magic in a title match against Layla and it backfired. Brie was pinned and Nikki lost her divas title to Layla. This will probably be something that comes up in the feud.
The two are the faces of the WWE divas division and Total Divas and a feud between the two would be great viewing on Total Divas as well as Naomi and Cameron's current rivalry. And new cast member Rosa Mendez will hopefully be seeing a little more ring action now the filming for the third season is under-way.
Elsewhere in the divas division, a diva has already turned heel, as "frenemies" AJ Lee and Paige finally parted ways Monday night when shockingly, it was Paige who turned on AJ throwing her over the announce table before mocking her and skipping back up the ramp in true AJ style.
Will there be a rematch at Summerslam? And will there be a rematch for Naomi and Cameron after Cameron attacked Naomi after her match with Paige on this weeks Smackdown? Surely three divas matches on one pay-per-view is to much, isn't it?
