Pharrell's impact will be felt with the soundtrack selections throughout NBA 2k15, many global stars have given their input on earlier additions of the video game, names include artist Jay Z and NBA superstar LeBron James.

Now Shaquille O'Neal has thrown his hat in the ring for wanting to be a part of the future of the title, Shaq has asked to audition his rapping calibre to Pharrell in order to feature on the game.

The eccentric O'Neal has entertained fans in the NBA for years, the former center has found many avenues outside of basketball to succeed in and earlier in his career he was an aspiring rapper.

Shaq has already developed a video with the use of the 2k team in order to audition to Pharrell Williams, that pretty much signifies his inclusion in the game, check out his rap here:

O'Neal often proclaims his previous success in the music field, having an album entitled "Shaq Diesel" go platinum. The big man has produced four albums thus far and sales in the U.S reach 1.5 million combined.

Lets be honest, every sports star has a part of him that longs for the entertainment industry, its an arrangement that exists in which sports and entertainment come hand in hand.

Shaq is no different as he loves to entertain whenever possible, if you want to see a music video with some famous artists featuring with the man, have a look at Shaq's hit "Men of Steel"
