WWE superstar thinks CM Punk's decision is crazy

According to reports, CM Punk is a former WWE superstar that is no longer under contract. The popular wrestler left the company back in January the day after Royal Rumble due to a dispute.

What his exact reason for leaving is still unclear to this day because CM Punk has never addressed the reasons for his acrimonious exit. Many reports suggest that he was angry that part-time wrestlers such as The Rock and Hulk Hogan were overtaking current superstars for the main card in big pay-per-views such as WrestleMania, while some suggest that he was burnt out.

Never coming back

Whatever the real reason for CM Punk's departure, WWE superstar Batista is still bewildered by his departure and believes that his decision to never wrestle again is just simply "crazy."

CM Punk was at the AP Music Awards on July 21, and during his appearance on the red carpet he was interviewed by one reporter who managed to get him to talk about wrestling.

During the interview, he was asked whether or not he would return to WWE ever again. In response, CM Punk stated "never ever ever." Now the comments may have been tongue in cheek and he did jokingly say that WWE fans will be holding him to such comments.

Crazy decision

If CM Punk was telling the truth, WWE superstar Batista believes his decision to never wrestle again is crazy.

But the six-time WWE champion also doesn't believe the comments from CM Punk. Instead, he believes that Punk will be back in WWE one day. One of the reasons he cites is the fact that Punk still has a strong love affair with wrestling. Speaking to Digital Spy, Batista says that WWE fans would love to see him back sooner rather than later.

"I know for a fact that he loves professional wrestling. I think eventually he'll come back. I think the fans really love him and miss him," Batista told Digital Spy.

"I think he loves it and misses it just as much. I'm really not sure why he left. He'll be back, I would think that he would be back. I think it would be kind of crazy if he didn't go back."
