Andres Iniesta has made it known that he is extremely pleased about his club’s new teenage sensation, Alen Halilovic, according to sources in Spain.

The 18-year-old Croatian midfielder joined the Spanish giants earlier this month for around £2million, and is expected to be a regular fixture in the B team for the upcoming season.

Iniesta thoughts

“We’ve all seen that Halilovic is a very dynamic player with a lot of quality and a good profile that you look for at Barca,” Sport reports Iniesta as saying.

“He’s a player who has the right attitude and is killed in one-on-ones. He’s young and can improve.

Halilovic has been a part of the Croatian setup from an early age, and has already made three appearances for the senior team. Unsurprisingly, the starlet has been linked with a whole host of top clubs in previous years, but Barcelona has proven his desired destination.

One for the future

He is certainly one to look out for in the future, and has the potential to be a real crowd favourite in Catalonia.

Iniesta has be full of praise in recent times, giving positive personal views on his new manager Luis Enrique, as well as new signing Luis Suarez and team-mate Xavi Hernandez’s decision to stay with him at Barcelona.
