Louis Van Gaal has set the standards high at Manchester United after his debut 7-0 victory over the LA Galaxy.
He looks to repeat the trick tonight against slightly more accomplished opposition as United take on AS Roma at 21:06 BST in the International Champions Cup in Denver, Colorado.
The Galaxy win was hugely encouraging ahead of the new season and Van Gaal will be looking for more of the same this evening ahead of friendlies against Inter Milan and Real Madrid next week.
More Herrera please
United fans got a first look at new signing Ander Herrera against the MLS side, and they will have enjoyed what they saw. The Spaniard provided three assists during the match, and looked like exactly the sort of player United were missing last year.
Luke Shaw also made his United debut, and the England international was the subject of Jose Mourinho's first attempt at mind games over the new United boss this week.
Mourinho on Shaw
Mourinho said a Chelsea move for Shaw would have 'killed' the dressing room at Stamford Bridge because of his reported £100,000-a-week wages, to which Van Gaal responded by saying he will have a chat with the Chelsea boss in private to settle the issue.
A classy move from the United boss - it would be unwise to engage Mourinho in these sorts of back-and-forths before the season has even begun.
United's team has been announced for the match against Roma though, and that's why you're here - so here's the starting XI...
Johnstone, Evans, Jones, Blackett, Valencia, Cleverley (c), Herrera, James, Welbeck, Mata, Rooney
The rest of the Manchester United squad is on the bench, apart from Rafael who is injured.
