Of course, I want to be part of the club’s ambitions.”
Lovren scored the winner at Anfield last season and spoke about how it feels to play in front of the Anfield faithful "I played there last season in front of the crowd singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’. That is something very special for every player, every sportsman and every fan. I can’t wait to get started.”

Rodgers has been on the look out for a new centre-back all summer and will be pleased to have secured the signature of his number one target, Dejan Lovren.
Talking to the Liverpool website Rodgers said: "This is a very important signing for us and I'm delighted it's completed so Dejan can join up with us on our US tour."
Rodgers will be looking to sure up the defence as he hopes to challenge for the title again next season and believes Lovren is the perfect centre-back to do this.

"He is still relatively young, so his peak years are ahead of him and I believe he will improve and progress even further with us."
Lovren was crucial for Southampton last season and Rodgers will be hoping he can he can have the same effect at Anfield.
