SummerSlam is only second behind WrestleMania for wrestling showcases, and with it being just over two weeks away, we're starting to see the card shape up.
It has always provided memorable matches and moments, and this year should be no different, but what are we likely to see come August 17th at The Staples Center?
The WWE has done a fair job of building up a number of different story lines and angles, meaning you can expect to see a stacked card, with enough matches too invest the audience.
This three part series is a subjective look at how SummerSlam should shape up from my point of view, looking at the current content the WWE is putting out there, and looking at how the summer showcase normally shapes up.
It will be fun to look at how the results of these matches can lead into new angles and story-lines for the superstars.
So let's have a look at the potential under-card.
The creative team seems to go into auto-pilot after WrestleMania, and as a result anyone not involved in the main-event scene suffers, this year has been no different.
However, they have picked up in recent weeks, and we're starting to see a number of story-lines emerge that will continue to pick up momentum in the coming weeks.
There won't be a place for everyone at SummerSlam however, Cesaro for example is just treading water so theirs no place for him, but with four matches on the under-card we're set for a good opening to the night.
