WWE superstar Sheamus is understood to be in line to showcase his darth side after it was revealed he could be set to appear in Star Wars as Darth Vader.

It's said that in a cinema not far away, the choirboy turned champion WWE wrestler will make the huge move to play one of the most revered characters in film history.

The Dublin-born star is rumored to be playing Darth Vader again after previously taking on the role during several promotional tours.

The 36-year-old possibly gave away the secret news after he tweeted a picture of himself "on the way to SkelligMichael," as he put it on Twitter.

If that information wasn't good enough. Sheamus, real name Stephen Farrelly, tweeted a picture of an Irish Mirror report that claimed he was in the scheduled episode 7 movie, and he included this cryptic response.

"I can't confirm that I won't not be reprising the role of Darth Vader in #StarWars…I hope that's clear @IrishMirror," Sheamus tweeted on Wednesday.

Potentially great news

Obviously these comments from the wrestler don't clear anything up at all, which is exactly what he wants right now.

The rumored reports have the potential to be great news for Sheamus personally, but only time will tell whether or not rumors become reality for the Celtic Warrior.

One thing's for sure, a friend of the wrestler's certainly believes the rumors have clear merit. "It would be a big coincidence for him to be here at the same time as the crew."
