WWE wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has been in news after he revealed that he was responsible for his daughters engagement falling apart.
His daughter Brooke Hogan was set to marry former Dallas Cowboys Center Phil Costa but the engagement was called off after just six months.
Following the initial proposal in Las Vegas back in June 2013, it has now been revealed that not only was it over, but Brooke's father had a part to play.
Speaking on 105.3-FM THE FAN, Hogan was talking football and revealed that he was a massive Cowboys fan.
According to Hogan, Costa didn't: "walk the walk and talk the talk,"
Revealing that he never liked the former Dallas star, Hogan expressed an attitude most fathers will have felt in their life time "here was no way my daughter was going to marry somebody that I don't like that got me mad, or has got in my face."
The original Hulkamaniac poses a very intimidating father-in-law and he also said that Costa knew better than to attempt to let it go any further.
Ever the wrestling enthusiast, Hogan posed the interesting concept that Costa would have been body slammed like Andre the Giant.
Meanwhile the original reason why Brooke Hogan called off the engagement is still claimed to be because of her ambition to continue with her music career.

Hogan was speaking to the fan ahead of the upcoming NFL season with his beloved Cowboys preparing for pre-season which is a matter of a week away.
WWE fans have already been treated to seeing their icon back in the ring several times already this year as Hogan was chosen to host WrestleMania XXX.
He was the first part of perhaps one of the most memorable opening scenes at WrestleMania ever where he, Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Rock all featured.
Since his re-emergence into the WWE following the release of their latest video game WWE 2K14 where the history of WrestleMania is relived.
