Daniel Agger's future at Liverpool has been put in doubt by the arrival of Dejan Lovren, with Barcelona and Bronby both keen on securing his services this summer according to the Daily Mail.
Lovren was snapped up from Southampton for a fee of around £20 million, and with Agger, Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho all on the books at Anfield one will most likely leave - and it seems as though the Dane is the man for the chop.
He admitted that his lack of first team action at Liverpool last season was an issue and that he could move on if the problem wasn't resolved.
Barcelona meanwhile are on the hunt for more defenders this summer having secured the services of Jeremy Mathieu, and reports in Spain suggest the Liverpool ace is the right man for the job. However the Daily Mail say that the Catalan giants may have some unlikely competition for the 29-year-old.
Danish outfit Bronby would like to lure the defender back to his homeland, and will hope to use the pull of an emotional return to his former club to persuade him to snub Barcelona.
Liverpool have been busy adding reinforcements this summer, so far signing no less than six players, including three from Southampton. Two more should follow soon as well, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is close to securing the services of Sevilla full-back Alberto Moreno and Atletico Madrid's Javier Manquillo.
According to the Daily Mail, the arrival of that pair will spell trouble for Glen Johnson, who only has a year left on his deal at Anfield and could well leave.
Barcelona meanwhile have apparently identified PSG youngster Marquinhos as their main target, but appear to be making little progress in that respect.
